How to browse the Internet Portal of the Directorate-General for European Funds? https://www.fondoseuropeos.hacienda.gob.es/sitios/sgfe/es-ES/Paginas/inicio.aspx

The website of the Directorate-General for European Funds has more than 600 pages and links to more than a thousand files related to the theme of the website: EU and Spanish regional policy.

In order to facilitate the use of the website, a content structure and a navigation system based on a logical organisation of the thematic website blocks has been designed. This logic is briefly explained below, in order to provide a small navigation guide for those using the site for the first time.

Homepage

At the top of the table are the higher-ranking bodies of the the Directorate-General of European Funds of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration. This area also provides access to the versions of the portal in the different official State languages, as well as in English and French, and to the logo of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

There is also access to the portal map, email addresses to answer users’ queries about the contents published, as well as the corresponding content search engine.

Finally, you will also find in this area the access link to the Budget Administration applications as well as information on how to request access.

The upper area of the central section is arranged into five main channels:

The following information is available in the middle of the central section:

  • Text explaining the information managed by the Directorate-General for European Funds
  • To the right of this text are links to information that explain and specify the characteristics and functions of this Administrative body.
  • Details of the most relevant news items can be found at the bottom of the central section.
  • Finally, there are banners with links to relevant information about the Directorate-General.

Finally, the bottom of the page provides information on the Legal Notice, Technical Guide, Navigation Guide, Accessibility, Data Protection and Date of last page update

Intermediate pages

When moving from the main page to the secondary pages, the navigation menu appears on the left-hand side, displaying the corresponding structure and the main channels.

The pages of the website are organised into three essential areas: the main left menu (thematic), the upper area (for the title of the page and its characteristics) and the central area (information content).

The left menu contains the fundamental branches of the website navigation tree, up to the third level of detail. Thematic gateways are used (i.e: Home > European Funds > European Funds: Period 2021-2017 > Initial documents).

The central area of each page contains the main information (graphics, text, internal links or file download area). This area also includes the drop-down menu below the third level and the information itself. When it is considered convenient for the nature of the information provided, a territorial presentation of that information is included. A map of Spain provides access to a territorial summary of the information in question, broken down into Autonomous Communities and Autonomous Cities.

Some pages have restricted access to those people who have previously registered and have a “Username” and “Password”. These pages contain sufficient information to request the corresponding access credentials to allow you to access the corresponding restricted information.

At the top of this central area you will find the title of the page and the chosen navigation route to which reference is subsequently made. Some pages have three links on the right-hand side:

Through these links you can access the specific content of the page you are on.

General aspects of the pages.

The page headers of the portal show the institutional logo of the Government, the Ministry, the hierarchy of the Directorate-General for European Funds, the logo of the Transformation, Recovery and Resilience Plan, the option to access versions in other languages, the web search engine and some auxiliary menus.

The institutional shield of the Ministry of Finance and Public Function links to the Ministry’s Portal and the logo of the Directorate-General for European Funds links to the website of the Secretariat-General for European Funds and the logo of the Transformation, Recovery and Resilience Plan links to the Spanish Government’s website for this Plan.

Located at the bottom of the page, the complementary menu area offers information regarding the Legal Notice, Technical Guide, Navigation Guide, Accessibility, Data Protection and Date of last page update.
