Act 50/1985, of 27 December, regulates incentives for regional projects granted by the Spanish government. The regulations on implementation of the Act were approved in Royal Decree 899/2007, of 6 July, modified by Royal Decree 303/2015, of 24 April, which lists the different types of area eligible for aid and the maximum incentives that can be awarded in each case. The specific characteristics of each area are listed in the Royal Decrees specifying the demarcation of individual economic development areas.
